International Removals Companies Professional Accreditations
Nowadays any company can make a good looking website, put up some professional photo's and make you believe they know what they are doing... accreditation and membership of professional bodies gives you peace of mind that the Removal Company you're inviting to quote is a good one.
The major trade associations for International Moving are FIDI and the British Association of Removers (BAR) Overseas Group. (note, members of the BAR will not ALL be members of the Overseas Group, so check carefully). Some companies may also be members of smaller associations such as IAM (International Association of Movers) or OMNI
The major certifications a shipping company can achieve through independent audits and inspections are the FIDI FAIM and ISO 9001:2008 quality standards.
