Plague?
Hello again!
Here's an interesing one for you architectural experts out there...
On the front of our house, there is a hole. It is about 2/3 foot off the ground and 4-5 inches in circumference. it stretches all the way from the inside to the outside. On the external wall is a small stone 'shelf' just below the aperture. You could stretch your arm through from the inside and pick up something (small) outside.
My personal theory (much to the merriment of my family) is that it is something to do with not spreading contagion or something like that... food left outside whilst the infected are inside. It isn't an old flue or anything like that... it's in entirely the wrong place.
Anyone else got one of these? Or an idea what it is? 'Dying' to know! Arf!

I'd love one like that! To be able to feed the mother-in-law without coming face to face with 'er........

Re: Plague?
I am on my third Mother-in-Law.
She's the best yet, but would need a bigger hole than this to feed from.
