Just saw this on the Spain Forum:

and thought it might interest all of us living in France.
P.S. to Mods: This is the second time I've discovered interesting info on the Spain forum applicable worldwide or to the EU. Would it be possible to get such info posted in the General Europe Forum and not just Spain?

I'm wondering exactly how this 12-month extension is supposed to work. What sort of extension will be accepted by other countries? If it requires processing the passport, won't it just add more to the backlog? And what about those who have already sent their passport, what are they supposed to do?

This is just a shambles, a complete and utter shambles.

Unless you have missed the last ten years "The Lounge" is full of general banter and very little of usefulness so it's the last place to go for useful information.
