La Poste/Colissimo
Don't send anything valuable.
Just lost/nicked my wife's wedding ring we posted using tracking/signed and insured. Now we start the process of actually trying to get the insurance.
With our history if insurance here I am not holding out much hope, car insurance didn't pay out because we had too many miles and our 1200e vet bill is not going to paid because we didn't send the form off within 2 months of the first visit, even though the vet had all the forms and said he's send them off. Dog still not right either.
Having a run of bad luck at the moment

I don't know which is worse however, using Colissimo and your parcel getting lost or using Chronopost and them losing the entire commune

Well I never. After being listed somewhere between France and the UK for 12 days it actually arrived at its destination! Funnily enough, when we started the claim it appeared
