Re: Introduction Thread (Somewhere to say Hi)
Hi, I am Sarah, at the moment I have been living in Brittany for 12 years with my husband but as I am approaching 70 and he is 72 we are thinking of going back to Devon, where our children, grandchildren and great grand-daughter live, house is up for sale but no joy at the moment, I think it will be a long job.

Re: Introduction Thread (Somewhere to say Hi)
Hi there!
I'm near Castillon la Bataille, and loving being here in the Dordogne. The pace of life is so much better than when I was in Essex. My French is improving, but it's always my accent which lets me down. When I say something, the French look puzzled, and after a lot of hand signals and expressions, the penny drops, so they smile and repeat exactly what I said in the first place..... but with the proper pronounciation. C'est la vie, I suppose.
