Flaneur is an unknown quantity at this point

Bonjour mes amis.
For those of you wondering what the definition of Flaneur is: a man who saunters around observing society. That is something I like to do and will even sit in my favourite cafe to observe the world go by.
I live in NZ but will shortly be moving back to France where I hope to do some house sitting so that I can find the perfect location to buy my dream French abode.
I did own a lovely maison de vacances en Dordogne proche d'Excideuil
Love to hear from anyone with a similar experience.
