I am hoping to move to Lille in the near future. Can anyone advice me on the possibility of getting work. I am a teacher but would consider other forms of employment. Also what sort o pay would i receive

Hi freeda,

I do live in Lille and I can tell you one thing that is pretty obvious: The situation as tense as anywhere else right now. Of course, you can work as freelance and teach english. I know an organism that provides english courses "union francaise de jeunesse" they have lots of participants and might need qualified teachers. to get an idea about the market. I do not know, how well you know Lille, but do not forget the border is very close and I like Belgium a lot. Welcome to Europe!!! I lived in Paris until quite recently an I would rather shuttle every day than go back. Quality of life is great here, I love it here.

Si j'étais toi, j'irais voir moi-même, Lille n'est que deux heures de Londres et en +, il fait trop beau ici pour le moment...
