Hi everyone, my family and I are moving to Colomiers in France in August and we are not sure whether to bring our rather large caravan with us since it will not fit on our new property. Is there anyone out there who owns a caravan around Toulouse and knows if there is somewhere to store caravans in that area? We need to decide whether to sell it before going out or not. Thanks for any advice.

There are several members in the area, but if they can't advise, google "gardiennage de caravane Colomiers 31" and you'll find a few listed.

There are a few storage box solutions on and around the Toulouse peripherique which except caravans and camper vans for long and short stay but not habited but to be fair use them as a short term solution an see if you can locate a barn or something to park it in as there are an abundance of these in villages and the countryside.

There is also the issue that in France, caravans need to be registered and have their own log book and numberplate - you can't put a caravan on the same numberplate as a French towing car. So there would be a certain amount of hassle involved in doing that.
