Nice try but both of those are creme fraiche . The Elle et Vire is interesting if you look at the ingredients at the bottom of the page . I always thought it was just soured with lemon juice or something but it includes starch , pectin and a thickener , carrageenans ( which comes from sea-weed ). I lust after pure cream on my apple pie !

I don't have to await the cavalry for supplies of marmite. Our local leclerc always has it, but I keep a spare jar in, just in case!
As for flour yes the flour sold in Fance is different but once you have learnet how it is labelled it is perfectly easy to adapt. I hav e an interesting table to compare English, French and US flour types. I'll dig it out and post it here.
Cream? I use two types. Isigny 40% MG and Fluerette 20 or 30 %MG. Although I love Cornish clotted and Jersey cream they aren't something I ever used too much in the UK so if I ever get any - eg when son visits from Jersey it is a true treat.

the different types of flour are marked type 65 etc. I can' t remember which is which but I had a great conversation with the boulanger about it!

GB you know you can make clotted cream? It's a bit laborious which has put me off but my kids ask me whenever I make scones. I can live without it....

Actually i have found that many things just don't matter. If you want to make something then use what you have to hand. It might not turn out perfectly but it will be better than you think!
Just out of interest I bought a packet of scone mix to try. It was far better than having scones delivered via internet shopping. Hopes that helps.

Thanks for the messages. I found a cool website "British shop abroad". With that, you can order products even if they are not mentionned. I will have a look to the delivery costs.

I use www.thetradingpost.fr for some catered chalets in the winter. I notice they do France south/west in the summer (Bordeaux, Hossegor, Montpellier & the St Tropez peninsula).
