I am very eager to find out how many expats are living in France, Spain and Italy. I can get hold of 'official' numbers, but clearly these are 20% of the actual total.

Does anyone have any good ideas??

and what does anybody else think of the fact that more and more brits are leaving britain? I suppose it seems that the whole world wants to go there to earn money, and we brits just want to leave to save the stuff and have a peaceful life.

we could speculate why people are bailing out like crazy, we could also turn the thread into an immigration not emmigration issue.

1= sick of UK, crowded dirty vile place
2= as above and children will NOT go to any scum ridden UK school
3= as above took the job and well happy for it.

friends in last 5 years, most went to spain another to OZ, another from OZ to france, the remainder want to leave.
