XChurch Quake - Thank You for the support.
I just wanted to make the effort to say 'thank you' to those of you that have come over to our wee forum to share your support, care & thoughts on this dark day . Every thought counts.
I suppose just when Xchurch thought they were home dry from all the aftershocks , they get hit by something bigger , mightier & much more awful .
I don't live in Christchurch. I live 4 hours away . I'm counting my blessings .

Thank you from someone who lives in Chch
I am fine and so is everyone I know but it is still very frightening especially when we thought it was starting to calm down after Sept 4th. The aftershocks are coming every 20 mins or so now.
I feel so sorry for those who have lost loved ones and those who don't know where their loved ones are since the phones and mobile networks are down. Already 65 dead and it is expected that there will be significantly more.
Thanks for your support

You poor souls over there, truly horrific images coming out of your city. To my mind its one of the worst kind of disasters - no time to prepare for a quake, it just happens and must be such a terrifying experience.
Large team of Aussie search and rescue on their way to help out with the rescue effort, and we can only pray that the aftershocks die down quickly, and the death toll doesn't rise too much higher.
Hugs and prayers to you all over there
