any company with as many stores as these 2 deserves all the cheap publicity for this , although I would not think that the sums involved would actually make it a cheap advert. there is no such thing as a selfless act and anyone donating to charity benefits by making themselves feel good etc. look at the big picture and cover your cynicism for gods sake! anyone with half a brain recognises it will be good pr for them, but anyone with half a heart won"t care

well said.do other people think that all charities give 100% to their cause.dont bloody think so,advertising,people who work for charities,op shop running cost etc.think a fraction of donations from registered charities actually get to the people that its intended for.

what about the head honchos taking less in wages,working for the dole in charities etc.seems charities,recipients and people on dole would gain from it. a win win situation.oh of course OSH would stick its oar in,duty of care,sueing shit. have read in news that $10,000 is being give in grants per family out of donations given by the public.(for essentials) etc.my question is where is the other money going? the other $60+ million?
