Would you survive the cull?

''A modest cull would strike at the root of our fiscal dilemma. If the least productive 20 per cent of citizens were decommissioned it would directly release a recurrent $25 billion, which would almost cover overspending by the Gillard government between now and September 14th, assuming Mr Swan maintains his long-term average rate of profligacy.

It does mention the culling of performance artists, it is not without merit ...

It would also create a number of jobs in the struggling poor-culling sector.

Wonder if poor-culler would be added to the skills list by DIAC?

We'd be inundated with Tory boys.

If we culled the 1% and took their assets, we could pay off all our debts and have much better public services. And let's face it, killing a few thousand people is a lot easier and quicker than all the millions suggested here.

but that wouldn't do much for global over-population after all as an old boss used to say "it's only the scum classes that breed".

And public services would instantly be better by killing the poor who use them thus freeing up more resources for the rest of us (I'm assuming I don't fall into the poor bracket )

Hell, Gina/Palmer/etc. - you could probably get to the required number of the worthless rich to zero the debt before you'd reached 10-20. Added advantage, would anyone actually mourn them?

Actually, lets add the lawyers to that list as well, no one likes them - score and rank everyone on a metric -

total assets owned/inherited
no. who would mourn them

The list gets descending ordered and you go down the list, culling, till you zero the debt.

You live in Adelaide so you must be. Surely nuking Adelaide simplifies the task.

bugger apparently Adelaide is soooooo boring even the nukes don't want to visit so we're safe.

Can I add all the car drivers that have cut me up on my motorbike to the list for early termination

Thanks to the defence stuff here, particularly the naval stuff, I think we're vaporised as soon as WW3 kicks off...

Make it Port Adelaide, and we would have a bigger harbour than Sydney
