Thanks for the Warning you lot!

Re: Thanks for the Warning you lot!
Just spoke to him & power due back on 2pm tomorrow. He's been loaned out to the SES tonight so if any of you guys see a couple of exhausted Navy lads working alongside the SES say hi Josh, he's the ugly one with the beard.
They went to a camping shop that charged them 3 times market price for a gas stove, profiteering barstewards lol.
EDIT: He's pulled up at their house & the guys have just turned the power back on to their street. Ahh well he has his emergency kit now

Yeah, I hear it's going to start kicking up by 8pm and get crazy closer to midnight. Hmm. Sounds like a New Year's Eve party gone bad.
Hubby has the generator lined up. Kids have been told by their teachers that they may be home tomorrow. Funny, they didn't seem that upset about it.

Fine here ooop norf. Just had a mad 5 minutes of very heavy rain and wind but not worse than we have had on other occasions at this time of year. I have my wine and my iPad and iPhone are fully charged. Both girls have a torch by the side of the bed and I have the camping lamp by mine. All sorted!

Well we have had heavy winds, lashing rain and a spectacular lightening show but if THAT was it - Sundays was much much worse!

They said it will hit at 10pm until early hours, either it has come early or the worst is yet to come. Either way, I have farted with more power.
