Default Supercell with golf ball sized hail over Northern Beaches/Upper North Shore, Sydney.

Just been scared witless by a freakish storm that has downed trees, stripped my garden and is causing water to pour through my light fittings.

Hope no one else has been affected badly.

Well, two trees down in out road, neighbour has had to have the SES out to turn off power and tarp the roof, and they say the whole area has been badly hit. Now got another storm overhead and OH is out with DD. I'm more than a little nervous.

Yes, lots of homes without power, and many trees down. Don't know how high the bills will be to clear it up and repair.
