Re: Severe Tropical Cyclone Ita - Far North & North Queensland
Severe Tropucal Cyclone Ita still has a very uncertain track. She may cross the coast and track south across land, or she may stay slightly offshore and move south parallel to the coast. The last scenario would bring heavy rain and cyclonic winds to coastal areas at least as far south as Mackay. If you are in the northern/far northern areas of Queensland please keep an close eye on this system.

It was horrible at work today with people doing their usual panic buying. I imagine it will be worse tomorrow.

That would make a big mess of a lot of coast. I think if that comes to pass even Campbell Newman will be seeing the point of government disaster planning people.... |
