We just had some pretty solid rain come down in the last hour, and a few flashes (though just one bang), though it didn't last too long and things seem eerily quiet now. It's like the rain came to take the wind along with it and then the two disappeared from sight...

The main body of the rain still hasn't reached the coast. Its incredibly slow movingand there are still some areas of very heavy rainfall to the west of Brisbane.
