Just 7.9mm in our back garden so a little disappointing. Didn't half look threatening when it was rolling in though :)

All good here so far. Lots of thunder and lightning and some rain. Very loud. May be passing over.

A trifle damp in Carindale too but fantastic to go to sleep to falling rain and thunder and lightning. Love it.

The worst of it fizzled out before it got to Brisbane but there was still plenty of lovely rain  Funniest bit is that it was raining so hard on the roof at work that we couldn't hear the phone ringing with the Bureau giving us updates on the storm's progress

We had a cracker of a thunderstorm here in Canberra last night and it rained for much of the evening. Perfect timing actually because I planted some grass seeds just an hour or so earlier to cover up some bare patches. The good soaking will help the germination along.

Seems the ACT had more SES callouts last night than for many months so it must have been a good one!
