Smile Anybody here work at (or used to work at) Bunnings?

Hi,

I am wanting to work part-time at the weekends for Bunnings (about 8 hours on a Saturday & 8 hours on a Sunday)

I am looking for advice on the best way to get a job there (preferably quickly). Anybody here work at, or used to work at, Bunnings who could offer advice on this?

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Gary

son used to work there while at school. Interview process was 4 stages, over 6 weeks. Including team/group interview at start, to interview with 3 managers/team members at end. About 500 people narrowed down in stages for 20 casual jobs. Casual work at their discretion, if and when they need you. This was for trolley/check out.

There are more perm jobs but held by much longer serving staff. Younger kids often do the weekends due to cheaper wages. Shifts seemed to be assessed daily by the days takings, often your shift was cancelled if figures were down. Son did 3/4 training sessions ( paid ) before he started the job as trolley boy and check out. He liked it but it was not regular hours, he would go some weeks with only 2 hours, same for the adults. Same as any casual job really, if and when they need you, not the other way round!

Was a great learning process for someone at school, all the team building interview stuff helped in later life
