Soz, just been sat here gobsmacked by it all, absolutely devastating. Two people dead, one is a child, I just hope they're not an ex-pupil as I'd not be able to cope with that at all!!! Others still missing, I just hope they're found alive!!!

They'd probably not let me help out til I've had training, I just would like to get involved in the immediate clean up as there will be so much to do! I won't be ringing them just yet as I'll probably just piss them off when they're probably still out searching for people!

A friend is moving house and has shedloads of excess good quality furniture she's trying to donate to anyone. Now I know it's early days and many places are still badly flooded but both Vinnies and the Salvos are saying no, don't want it, won't want it, take it to the dump. She's very peed off understandably but hasn't got anywhere to store it on the off chance that someone will need it.

Thanku, I'll not deny I'm quite scared, crying thinking about it all and just read that there's now four confirmed dead and lots more missing. Also read that police are reportedly pulling bodies out of cars in the CBD, I really hope this isn't true! It was just so unexpected, that's why it's been so bad! SHOCKING!!!
