Powerful series of Quakes hit NZ
A series of quakes, kicked off by a 6.6-7.8 (depending on who you believe) quake have been hitting NZ. A Tsunami warning has been issued.

Currently seeing aftershocks set off up and down both North and South Islands, about every 2 mins.

Yup. That's a good description.
Strong quake which was long and extremely shaky followed by continuous shakes.
