See today has been a strange day with mega halestones near Brisbane and another tornado, whilst Victoria and Tasmania have snow whilst in the mountains in another part of Victoria there is major bush fire.
Wonder why it was the English that talked about the weather all the time and not the Aussies... .

Seen smouldering down road from us where there has been a fire luckily now out and winds have dropped but sounds like it is still blazing well near Caloundra.
On the other hand Granite Belt has had snow first time since 1941 I think they said.

Did ring the local rural fire brigade the other day as was smoke out the back of us but no sign of fire so didn't want to 000 and they said 'Oh! it's OK' apparantly it was smoke drift from Kilkoy. Drifter a bloody long way me thinks.

Big one down at Nerang yesterday, though not on the scale of the Caloundra one.
Look out for storms later today

Thunder rumbling already but main cells not expected over here until about 7pm ish so fingers crossed they've blown out by then.
Put the car in the garage though as Seven news specifically mentioned Narangbah, Strathpine and Dayboro so thought better have a mild panick... :scared: .
