Default Advice - Internet Download Manager Android.

Anyone got any tips on the best app to replicate IDM for Windows. The one on Google Play in not in English. There are loads of others buy many have bad references to the app. I am looking for an app, which will pop up on my screen while watching YouTube, and allow me to download the clip to my tablet or phone. Anyone got any good experiences? Cheers.

Tubemate seems one of the better ones. Be careful though, only download it from the tubemate site as there are loads of fakes out there. I use Freemake video downloader for Windows but I think they are , or about to , have an android version.

Cheers mate, will that work with any video legally allowed to view online. The great thing about IDM Windows is you click on a page with a online video and it gives you the opportunity to download it as a Mp4 file, relatively small, so you can play it back on a TV or larger screen another time.

Tubemate works with you tube and a few other sites, Freemake works with lots of sites.
I no longer use a download manager on my tablet , do it all on the desktop then transfer. It's just easier for me as I'm getting a bit decrepit.
I know there are some IDM's that supposedly work with any online video and on the rare occasions I come across a site not recognised by Freemake, I can capture in real time using Ashampoo Snap 7 - great screen capture programme but is not free.

Cannot find one application that will work on Android the same way IDM works on Windows.
