Bush Fires
 

Anyone know where you can get information on bush fires in your area?

There is a huge plume of smoke coming from the Northern Illawarra Escarpment at the moment. Its been burning for about 4 hours now, and you can hear the sirens of the firetrucks going up the Bulli Pass.

I'm not overly concerend, I know the fire services are well drilled, I just like to know whats going on. I'm a nosey bugger.

The BOM site has warnings - but there appears to be none at present - perhaps too early for upgrading?

Polly might well know in the course of her job.

Thanks for all the links. It looks like there is a hazard reduction burn in Bulli, so nothing to worry about.
