Default Brisbane Volunteering - Rock Up, Bus In and Help Out

Brisbane Council has announced a new programme where anyone can donate either a half or full day of their time helping clean out properties and remove debris.

Volunteers will be bussed in and out:

Not for the OH and MIL this morning ... they were at the rally point at 7am spent an hour or so queueing then spent a couple of hours on a bus stuck in traffic then spent the rest of the time hanging around waiting to be told what to do.

In the end they were all sent home because neither the army nor council could make a decision.

I guess it's better to be there on stand-by than not ...

Rock Up, Bus In, Hang Around.

Oh well, it's the thought that counts.
