Lets hope the koala's took refuge in your trees at the bottom of your garden Pen
Put loads of food out for them and the other unfortunate animals now without a home!

Incidentally our brigade have all just been issued with a second set of kit. It took weeks to arrive as it had to come from bloody WA. The really stupid thing is the uniforms are actually made just a few k's down the road in Gympie then shipped over to WA only to be shipped back again. Our second officer works in the factory so we're all getting name badges sewed on our jackets foc.

Polly, just out of interest, where did the 10 tenders come from. From what I've seen that would near as damn it wipe out the bottom half of the coast, should anything else occur. We are so seriously under manned here it's really scary. Probably the first thing we noticed when we got here but only because of hubby's history. My daughter reckoned there were "hundreds of helicopters" Two's pretty good though.

Looks like two kids were "helping police with their enquiries"

Apparently they were in court today. Community service, a fine and something else. Not 100% sure of facts but it would seem they were playing silly sods and it just got out of hand. I'd like to show them the back of my hand Someone at the school reckoned that it was the boys who called it in though.
