Re: Boxing Day Sales
Nowt, zip, nada. I have no intention of going anywhere on Saturday. Absolutely nothing I need other than a kitchen and that's currently scattered around the house whilst the shell is re plumbed, re gassed, re electric'd , re walled and re floored. Actually I could do with a new pair of pants. Managed to rip a pair today by taking an unscheduled dive off a ladder and landing on a stack of tiles.

I would usually shy away from the sales but we're moving into our new (and very huge) house at the end of January. It has 4 living rooms (if we include the sun/bar/pool room) but currently we only have one telly. We'll be needing more.

No I achieved an early viewing of a house that was being sold the traditional asking price way. I found auctions to be a bit of a con. Bidding rarely reached the reserve price and when they did it was usually due to Chinese trophy hunter buyers who were willing to pay whatever price it took to "win" the auction.
Can't believe our luck with the purchase, it's a real beauty - and with only a very small mortgage

No point. 4K specifications have not been decided yet so it probably won't work when they are.
