Default Where to stay in Koh Samui?

We want to stay on the Northern Beach area of Koh Samui for one night on the way to Koh Tao. We've narrowed to 3 places: Smile House Resort in Bophut, Como Resort in Bophut and Lolita Bungalows in Maenam. Does anyone have comments or recommendations? Thanks!

passed by Lolita around early Aug while wandering around Maenam. There's some
on-going construction nearby so I wouldn't recommend it at this time. Maenam beach
is much better than Bophut's

We stayed there. Yes it's in Lamai and it's towards the north end. Nice & clean
place, but unfortunately there's two go-go bars just off their entrance on the main
strip, and it's techno at full blast till 2am about 50% of the time. No good if u're
a light sleeper.

Sorry Magnus, you're right, wrong end of the place. Still great. Sorry about
the mislead.
