Moving to Kaohsiung, Taiwan
Hi All,
I've not used this forum for a while, since I left Abu Dhabi. I am wondering if anyone can give me some pointers about life in Kaohsiung or Taiwan in General. Cheers Abu |

Kaohsiung! I was there in 1990 on a project. I haven't been back since, but it is on my list to visit again. I can only imagine it being a better experience now than it was then, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

I'm moving to Taiwan later this year (near Taipei). I have visited a few times in the last couple of years so I have some knowledge. It's a nice country, very low crime rate and good transport infrastructure and healthcare. The mountains in the centre are really nice to visit (also Sun Moon Lake). The mosquitoes are a nightmare!
