Can anyone move to Vietnam?
I have friends here in Australia that would like to move to Vietnam. Although they are British born they both have Australian citizenship. Also they are self funded retirees. Is it possible that they could retire to Vietnam?

Thank you mikelincs for the website.
Us oldies get senior moments & sometimes forget there is always Google!
Yes, they go to Ho Chi Minh City every year. They have made local friends there & think of opening a coffee shop between them.

No, not everyone can just go and retire there. But Oz and Vietnam (?) are Asean members. This should make it easier to live there. But don't overlook that "tea money" is required when dealing with officialdom. Go and enjoy your retirement, leave your money outside.
