You should try a site based in the UK, as most of us are Expats living all over the world. But some one with recent memories of a good restaurant in London might come along with a suggestion, bearing in mind that it's subjective, and what suits one person might not suit your tastes!

Also depends on your budget - London restaurants can be VERY VERY pricey.
My own favourite is the River Restaurant at the Savoy. Just been refurbished. Niot as stuffy as the Grill
The Gavroche has always been good. There is always a very good chef at the Connaught
Heston Blumenthals restaurants are highly regarded-my daughter likes the Oriental Mandarin and Hutong at the Shard - which should be spectacular.
Less pricey and very traditional English - Rules is one I always like and Simpsons on the Strand.
Give me a bit more idea of tastes and budget and I will see what I can come up.
