EU eletric socket with switch, does it exist?

Hi,

I am looking for EU electrical sockets with a little switch like there is on UK electric sockets.

I have been to many shops in different countries (France, Portugal, ...) but I was not able to find it.

Has anyone ever seen such thing?

Not really and the only thing you'll find would be an extension lead with on and off switch. Even in Germany many people still have a plug/light switch in the bathroom, while here in Ireland/UK Electricians would not do that.

You can get power bars with a switch (such as Bloco de 3 tomadas - 2P+T INT GARZA - Leroy Merlin) or plugs with a switch (such as Ficha M 2P+T - INTERRUPTOR BRANCO - Leroy Merlin).

There are also plugs with built in switches available at most hardware stores.
