Preparing the move to Oz!
Hi all!
So fortunately for me i was born in Australia and left when i was just 3 months old. I'm currently going through the process of getting my citizenship and australian passport sorted and i am looking to make the move back to my homeland in Spring 2018. I am a fully qualified spark and spent 9 years on the tools before joining the army as an electrician in the Royal Engineers almost 5 years ago although to be honest i haven't really done much sparkying in that time, anyway thats bye the bye...
I am new to the forum and i'm sure i could find out what im looking for after a few hours of trawling through peoples various posts but hopefully there is someone who can break it down for me nicely into exactly what i need to do to transfer my qualifications so they are recognised in Australia. I am still unsure as to where exactly i think i will settle down but i'm thinking Brisbane (QLD).
If there's anymore information you need off me to point me in the right direction then please ask, thank you in advance!

As you do not need a skills assessment to move, but will need to get your skills assessed in a similar fashion, you could start the process know with someone like Vetassess, or maybe contact here - HomePage as recommended by another member.
