Default Purchasing Property in North Cyprus

People are being evicted in North Cyprus, by a bank, after purchasing property in North Cyprus. These are elderly people being thrown out onto the street.
Do not purchase property in North Cyprus, the well documented Orams case is one example of what can happen! Read the sory here http://bit.ly/eLqmsh

Yet people still go and buy there because it is cheaper than the South
They don't bother to ask themselves why it is cheap. But how cheap is it really when a few years down the line your property has to be demolished because the land didnt belong to the developer and you also have to pay compensation to the rightful owner of the land

The Cyprus Government must do more to publicise stories like these, to warn people of what might happen!
