Jobs Prospects In Cyprus
Hi, there seems to be many people still coming to Cyprus looking for work. Many people on this forum advise that the job situation is not good in Cyprus. Here is some more information to help people with their decision.
According to figures released by the Cyprus Statistical Office, there was a rise of 19.2% unemployed persons in August 2011 compared with August 2010.
The unemployed persons, registered at the District Labour Offices on the last day of August 2011, reached 26.657 persons. Based on the seasonally adjusted data that shows the trend of unemployment, the number of registered unemployed for August 2011 increased to 28.328 persons in comparison to 27.804 in the previous month.
