Info on Limassol Neded Please!
 

Hi All

I'm coming over to Cyprus on Sunday for three days with my partner, he is having his last rounds of interviews for a job in Financial Marketing in Limassol. In the mean time I am to hunt and review the island for approval to move here with our one year-old.:unsure:

I don't know where to start!:( Do you have any names of good estate agents who could show us some good properties? Which areas shall I look at? He'll be working in Limassol so assume there but what's it like? Is it better to live outside and commute in (e.g. you'd never actually live in the city in London but commute in, is it the same deal over there?)

The main reason for making such a big move would be a drastic improvement of lifestyle. Obviously London - where we are now - has a never-ending list of things to do but it can be crowded, gray, no fresh air, no sea and the weather - well, you know the score on that! I'm 31 and my partner is 40 so we are still in to having nice meals out, drinks with friends etc. I'm quite sociable and like meeting up with friends for coffee's in the day, taking the kids to play at the park etc. Is this kind of life possible? Worried I'll end up drifting around just me and my son on a hill top somewhere waiting for Daddy to come home and going loopy!

Some guidance as to how to make the most of the island and what are the hotspots to check out, nicest areas to live with a little one etc.
