Yay.. passport dispatched. Overseas British Passport Timeline (for child application)
Applied from USA
Filled out application online: 26 Sept
Sent off supporting documents : 18th Oct
Rcvd Documents Durham office: 23rd oct
Email received asking for a statutory declaratiom by mail: 27th oct
Sent stat dec: 29th oct
Dispatched: 13th November
In total it took 16 working days (not including weekend) to receive a dispatch update from the day they received supporting documents. Bearing in mind this is a first time child british passport from usa.
Does anyone know roughly how long I should expect to wait until I receive passport.
