No point in starting an application until such time as you know under which category you can qualify.
That's a much better explanation, thanks SDG. I took the OP's post to mean that he thought it was ok to do the online application and get visa approval just using his current employment details, and then provide details of the UK employment (and move to the UK) once he'd found a job in the UK.
