Spouse visa
Hi All
I got married in April 2017 and I am about to submit spouse visa application for my husband next week, I was told by my friend that I need to give reason to Home office for not applying for spouse visa straight after wedding and why there is such a delay.
Is that correct? Do I have to explain to home office and provide evidence of my reasons for applying for his visa 11 months after wedding?
Thanks in advance for the help.

No you don’t have to explain anything!
