Default Sponsoring In-laws

Hello, I hope I have reached the correct forum for this.

I am a British citizen currently working in a EU country. My wife and children, also British citizens reside in the UK. My wife wants to sponsor her father to become a permanent resident. I am the sole earner of the family. Is there any special procedure I need to follow for this? In particular, what do I need to do differently compared to a non-expat? Thank you in advance for your advice.

Default Re: Sponsoring In-laws

The only way to sponsor parents etc is through the Elderly dependent relative visa, where the sponsor has to show that they have been, and can continue to, fully support the elderly person.
