This thread is to gain an insight of who has been waiting for more than 90 working days and to get an idea of any 'group' representation / action we might want to consider. Clearly our MPs are getting nowhere.

I suggest we each initially share the following information

Date of Biometrics

Location of Biometrics

Date of email receipt from Sheffield

Location Constituency of your sponsors MP
26th April biometrics in france
20th July not straightforward and requested docs.
26th July sent requested docs.
15th August i sent more docs myself.
MP involved but useless
Stopped calling as it waste of money

Hello all.
I was suggested to join this forum as my settlement visa is also delayed in process.
Email stated that they received application: 1st June (I did from VFS Chiangmai Thailand, priority)
Email stated that my application is not "straight forward" on Sunday, a couple of days before it reached 60 working days.
Now I am on second escalation. Got email from them that my application now is being looked at as urgent case, still haven't heard anything from them. My husband also got the MP involved but from what I have learnt from forums, I am not sure how difference this will make.
I am keeping myself busy with works and else to keep me going. My husband and two sons (british passport) are waiting and this delay starting to wear them down.
I don't really know the word "urgent case" means anything but I do hope it ends soon.
Fingers crossed to everyone!

My wife also applied 28th April in Bangkok!
No word on her visa yet!
MP involved ... no help!
Generic emails with excuses about how busy they are.
Basically any application that has already missed the 60 working day SLA then they have been moved to the non straight forward category marked for 120 days to complete!

This is how the home office is able to lie to the public and state that applications are being processed within the SLA and the backlog of applications from April to end of May have been categorised as not straight forward.
We are only 3 weeks from that milestone so fingers crossed!

Evening folks. No more news on my front. MP has agreed to arrange a call with me prior to the conservative conference .... Waiting for confirmed time.

Sadly we are not many in here - I was expecting a lot more voices. Hopefully others will register their interest, or are we just a few forgotten folk with files locked in the basement? I'll leave it until the end of the week. In the meantime those like minded folk please send me in a private message your email address. If we are to coordinate an action group in UK we will need another communication channel outside of here

Just had this email below after calling again Monday 18th to re-escalate. We are on 101 working days today.

Has anyone else had this? There is no reference number so it's obviously a generic email. For those of us over 90 days if they are trying to hit the 120 deadline SLA that would be something to hope for. Just hope it's not another fob off. First time I have seen any hint of some responsibility or apology!!
------------
Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for applying for a UK visa.

Due to it being our busiest period, I am afraid we are unable to make a decision on your application within our usual timescale. We aim to make a decision on your application before 31 October. If for any reason we are unable to do so, we will write to you to update.

Staff at the visa application centres or contact centres have no influence on cases and cannot provide any further advice so we recommend you do not attend or call the contact centre. Please do not go to the Visa Application Centre until you have received written confirmation that a decision has been made on your application and that your passport is ready to be collected.

We understand this will be frustrating to you and regret any inconvenience caused.

We will contact you shortly to update you on what is happening

Thank you for your understanding.

Kind Regards,

UK Decision Making Centre
