MP Involvement
Good morning all, from a sunny and fresh NZ,
I am on my 2nd application as first was refused due to a bad application on my behalf, it lacked information and I was very ignorant as I have had a spouse visa some years back, anyway now have 2nd application in and have paid priority for this and am now at 34 BD, have an MP in Scotland who has contacted UKVI and he was told it may be 20 days till he gets a response.
have applied for the savings route, have adequate savings , proof etc,
helpline escalated fro me last week on day BD27, received email from UKVI apologizing for not meeting timescales etc.
Just wanted to put it out there see if anyone has had a similar exp?
Was hoping for a white xmas but may be a BBQ in the sun,
had travel day down as Dec 15, would they work to this

Hi, I could be wrong but I thought priority was for straight forward applications and if an application had been previously refused it may not meet their criteria. Fingers crossed for you
