Hi there

can anyone advise please - we have just had a refusal for a spouses visa - not due to relationship but not meeting the english language requirement , which I dont understand as we enclosed his masters degree cert from a UK university.

Does the appeal have to go to tribunal or can it be overturned within the visa office and if so how long does that take?

What is the normal time to wait for an appeal now please?

Any other suggestions please.

I didn't think I needed a NARIC confirmation as the degree was in the UK with a UK university, but happy to be guided by those in the know
