I think we will end up emailing on our own! 5 pounds on the thousands we've already spent is nothing ha ha! Thank you for your advice!

I second that. The responses you get via email make slightly more sense than the ones you receive via the telephone operators.

Guys finally got visa!!! So happy.
Applied from India on 7th April.

Quick question though, visa sticker is only valid for month? Is that how it’s supposed to be I guess. Letter does say that my wife got visa until 2020.

Congrats! I bet you're chuffed to bits ü

Yep, that one month visa is kinda like to give your wife time to get stuff back home in order before leaving. You'll get fined if she flew in to the UK past that one month visa.

And I think your wife has 10 days after she arrived to get her BRP card.

So happy for u and congrats
Yes the initial visa only for one month. You have travel uk within that time period.
Then once you moved to uk you have to collect your brp card from your post office.

Hi

My wife submitted her passport and biometrics on 28th of April and then she received an the 'we have yet to receive your supporting documents' email on day 59. My solicitor had sent the supporting documents twice already before this date.

She then received the '31st of October' email on 25th of September.

This morning marks 119 days for our non-priority application and she has received a 'your application is not straight forward'

What is this rubbish!

Will we still receive a decision before the 31st of October or not now?

Anybody else in the same situation?

It would have been 120 working days tomorrow for us.

Just got an email from the VAC saying the passport is ready to pickup. Yet more stress waiting to see the result! But at least an answer.

Congratulations, make sure you arrive within the month and to pick up the BRP within 10 days. Have a safe journey.
