My husband got his visa today! It took DHL less than 24 hours to get it from Madrid over to him in the Canaries!

Thanks to all on here for the support that is offered! Couldn't have done it without!

Was contacted yesterday by Bangkok embassy asking for employment letter that i have already provided , but i sent a new one anyway this morning!

It does show that our application at least has been taken away from sheffields incompetent hands and returned to Thailand!
Hoping to receive visa in the next few days
And hoping its not just another stalling tactic!

Keep faith Minho although I know it's difficult as I was there before. Felt depressed and powerless when our lives were completely controlled and decided by UKVI. But you are nearly there. Don't give up.

I Applied in March the 15th non priority still waiting had two email saying not straightforward the second was sent on sunday ! don`t know i thing it`s just automatic messaging system they doing did`t get the October email .. I don`t know what to do or whether to escalate my case .. , any advise

I am so happy to see that some people are getting answers. I was rejected last year as my husband was a part time uni student/ full time worker who didn't meet the annual salary, though he did meet the savings requirement.

I am on day 65 of my second attempt.
Applied from Canada on July 6th
Received the "not straight forward" email on September 25th.

In total it has been 1.5 years of living without my husband. My heart aches for everyone else in this less than ideal situation. Hoping for some good luck for us all!

No I have had no communication from HO other than the "not straightforward" email before my 60th day. I have not even had the October 31st email. Are these emails truly random? It worries me that some people are getting emails that others aren't. I am a teacher and my classroom in London has been waiting for me for a long time now! Did you receive a phone call about your employment?
