Here's my document list for my US wife's visa application. Should be relatively straight forward: I am a UK citizen, we are both currently living in the USA, married for 6, years, 2 kids (UK Passports), I own a house in the UK, and financial requirement covered by a combination of savings and investment income.

Biometrics receipt
Settlement Priority Processing Receipt
Current US passport (original)
Note saying why previous passport is not available (it were not returned last time it was renewed)
US birth certificate (original)
2 passport sized colour photos
UK marriage certificate (original)

From sponsor (me, husband, UK citizen)
Letter of Support
Birth certificate (original)
UK House owned by me land registry entry (photocopy)
Mortgage statements for 6 months
UK passport photo page (photocopy)

Financial Evidence (via cash held & investment income)
VAF4A-Appendix 2 Financial Requirement Form
Bank statements for 6 months (original)
Investment income statement for the last 12 months

Evidence of relationship
Kids birth certificates (2) (originals)
3 family photos + wedding photo
US joint house purchase settlement document (copy)
2014 US property tax demand in both of our names (copy)

Photocopies of everything.

Have I missed anything?

I did a quick comparison to what is on the official requirements list & I dont see anything missing that you have listed.

My husband just got his Visa today. We also gave a letter from the bank stating how much money I have in my bank and blah blah blah. It does mention about a letter from the bank on the list but it doesn't say it's mandatory. Good luck.

Just wondering why you included your kids birth certs even though they have UK passports.

The birth certs were to prove evidence of relationship, and show mother and father's names.

This is a great list.. and just what I was preparing too - I even put up a post earlier as I could have sworn there was another form that I read on the UK Gov website but have found no mention of it on this site - which steered me right for getting my Green Card.

Just one point - when you say 'any photocopies of everything' you mean for the originals that you also sent it and want returned?
