FLR visa received!!
Finally my wife's visa extension arrived this week!!
Applied for FLR on the 28th Dec 2017.
2 packets arrived on the 14th Feb 2018.
One with all supporting docs and passports.
Second an hour later with her residence permit.
Pheww what a relieve!

Well done! I have been away for couple of months and off the internet so missed your good news!
That was about 6 weeks? Did it come back via recorded delivery with Royal Mail? I am just thinking that if I cannot get an appointment by end March I may submit by mail. The only problem is we are planning on selling house and our address may change so am worried that even if we do a mail re-direction my documents may not find me? That awful stress of applications is starting all over again!

Yes it came back by recorded delivery with RM. Wife had to sign for it.
We were in the same predicament but luckily our house move was delayed. Hopefully in April we're moving.
I think redirection should work as its recorded.
