Default Fiancé Visa - Relationship assessment

Hi guys,
I have a question on relationship assessment when applying for a fiancé visa.
I am dual national Polish/British and she is Ukrainian, we met online in September 2017 and have since been seeing each other on average every 4weeks for couple of days. As we want to be together and I want her to live with me in the UK we got engaged.

Secondly regarding financial assessment if I am on income well above the required level but have no savings will that be a problem?

Thank you,

To qualify with income you need to be earning 18,600 GBP per annum. If you do then you do not need savings.

You qualify under either Cat A or B. Read following document to see under which category you can apply:

Just getting engaged is not enough to qualify for fiance visa. You have to show a genuine relationship prior to engagement (as you have only been together for 7 months this will be important) and also proof of plans to marry ; church/registrar bookings, reception venue booking, rings, etc.

Thank you for the above response, I have a follow up question - do you therefore believe it will be difficult to demonstrate geniuine relationship if we know each other 7months and are in long distance relationship? Or as long as we can show and articulate that we speak every single day, Have pictures from many places together, will have proof of wedding arrangements rings etc but with fact that we did not live together and see each other face to face on average only 3-4 days a month be a problem? Thank you

The ECO assessing the application will make a decision regarding the genuineness of your relationship based on the evidence you provide. No one here can guess if the ECO will accept your relationship as genuine or not. You can only provide the evidence you currently have , so if you want to apply now you'll just have to hope for the best.

to prove your relationship genuineness do you have to show them your communication records e.g Whatsapp call history or chat records?

That can form part of your evidence. Individual circumstances will differ meaning they are not hard and fast rules, but printing off hundreds of sheets is not advisable however, particularly if you are only relying on that.
