Default Does a contract still work for spouse visa?

Hello
Planning on applying for my us citizen husband spouse visa
We both work in Usa. I make over the required £18600. I can get a job in UK doing the same, however both jobs are contracted due to teaching. The one here finishes in August and the one in UK will be sep-july. Does this matter?
Also, what needs to go in proof of employment? Do I need letter from hr stating how much I'll make, positions etc.

Thank you in advance!

To apply using income you must provide employer letter/contract stating salary, position, type of position etc

So, you need such letter from current job, plus payslips, bank statements and letter of employment from job which is starting in the UK within three months of your return.

Read the following document carefully to see whether you apply under Cat A or B

The best way is to contact an OISC Immigration Advisor to help you to prepare your documents. The Spousal visa application has been quite complicated recently

No it's not unless there are unusual circumstance such as a criminal record, most people will be able to DIY, in any case even using an agent you still have to fill in all the forms yourself and provide all the details, using an agent will cost money and has no more guarantee of success (unless there are special circumstances). People on here are very willing to give advice and help.

+1. Most seem to manage to complete it successfully on their own, and most refusals seem to have used a consultant from what I've seen on the forum!
