Can I get a British Passport?
I know I am eligible for an Ancestry Visa for the UK.
Both my grandfathers were born in England. My paternal grandfather moved to New Zealand with his parents in the 1880’s. My father was born in 1917 in Australia.
My maternal grandfather was in the British merchant navy and jumped ship in Australia about 1920 and my mother was born there in 1931. My parents married in Australia in 1953. I was born in Australia in the 1950’s. Would I be British by double descent and qualify for a British passport?

Unless one of your grandfathers was in Crown Service at the time your relevant parent was born it’s unlikely that you’re a British citizen.
